yes, going through insurance but my deductible is 1000 :frown:

I visited police station and filed a complain and police will look through tape.

If they wont able to recognize car then it depends on how much it cost.

if it costs around 1000-1500 then i would do it myself instead of bringing my insurance guys.

 

"Bump" I was wondering what would you call a crash, way over 1000 to fix easily, I will estimate $2700 or more

That sucks! Sorry to see that happen to you.

From what I can tell, you'll need a new front bumper cover as well as a lower front grille, new windshield washer fluid tank (as well as any other lines that could have been damaged), new hood since you said it may be bent, and possibly a new headlight because the mounts could be broken (possibility since it looks like the headlight is pointing down). From looking at the picture, the gap between the hood and fender shows that it could be the fender that is damaged instead of the hood (could be both).

Now, with all those parts plus the parts being painted and bought from a Toyota dealer, it could cost anywhere from $1,000-$3,000. Remember, I'm basing this off of a worst case scenario where all of the parts that I have mentioned are damaged and need to be replaced. Let's hope the idiot who hit you gets caught and pays for the damages.

 

I'm guessing that it will be $3k-$4k by the time it's all finished. When I hit a deer last year the final bill was $8600! :surprise:

 

It doesn't look that bad from what I can tell by the picture.
Somewhere around the same cost as getting a new bumper and then windshield washer tank
Get an estimate first, but I think it would be somewhere around the $2000 mark.
