There is a loud rattle/clanky sound coming from the driver’s front wheel area. This happens when I start to break at around 30 and higher MPH, but I can also hear a clanky sound when I go over bumps on the road, very annoying. This started out very faint about a month ago and so I decided to take it into a shop. The mechanic drove the car and when he heard the sound, he looked very puzzled, again at the time it was very faint and not as loud as it is in the video. The mechanic ended up taking the wheel off and examined the suspension area and said everything looked okay. He mentioned there could be something lose in the steering wheel area that might be contributing to the sound but obviously could not say for sure. To me, the sound is definitely coming from the wheel area. Any thoughts?
