Our 2012 Camry LE has an occasional rattling noise that occurs when stopped at a red light, and while in drive. This noise stops when we shift to neutral. It seems to occur if the red light is on an incline. Any ideas?

All cars do this eventually. As the motor and transmission mounts wear, more vibrations are transferred to the cabin. Couple this with aging plastics and a low rpm, queue annoying rattle. Unless you really want to go replace all the mounts, tune up the engine, and foam tape the entire dash, best to just shift to neutral if stopped for long enough.

Interior or exterior? Plastic or metallic? If exterior and metallic, exhaust heat shields are a good place to start. Interior and plastic are much harder to track down and are often caused by drivetrain vibrations.
