They would need the VIN and scan the car's computer to see what revision level that your car is now at.
Have you considered replacing the transmission fluid? What mileage are you at?
There are thicker transmission fluids that are still rated for the Toyota WS fluid application. The common one that I've used is Castrol Transmax ATF/CVT Universal, which isn't very expensive but which will go straight to the source of the shudder at the TC clutch plate surfaces.
Note that it takes well more than the transmission's 7-quart capacity to replace even 80% of the fluid, because of the unavoidable inter-mixing of old and new fluid inside of the transmission. It helps to pull the pan to get more old fluid and wear silt out initially, as well as the old filter.
