i haven't test driven yet. does the standard backup camera come with bumper sensors? do the guidance lines change on the screen when you turn the steering wheel?

:dunno: I'm not sure what you mean by bumper sensors then; my 2014.5 Camry I4 has sensors that let me know when I'm too close to objects and when I have traffic passing by behind me.

As for the guidance lines, they stay in place when turning while backing up.

The only sensors that come on the camry are Blind Spot Monitor and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert

Press the "BSM" button on the dashboard, to the left of the steering wheel. You'll see the Blind Spot Monitor [1] indicator light up in the outside mirrors and hear a tone as part of an initial system check. When a vehicle in the next lane enters your blind spot on either side, the indicator will light up in that side view mirror. If you signal a lane change in that direction while the vehicle is still there, the indicator will flash to get your attention.

Rear Cross-Traffic Alert [2] can help you when backing out from a parking space. When your vehicle is in reverse and your speed is less than 5 MPH, the system is designed to detect vehicles approaching between 5 and 18 MPH from the right or left rear of the vehicle. If the system senses cross traffic, it warns you by flashing the side mirror indicators and sounding a warning tone.

There are no backup sensors for stationary objects on Toyota vehicles that I am aware of. I know Ford and Honda have that as an option on their vehicles.

No backup sensors. Not even an available option!

Nope. We bought a 2015 with most options and didn't even think to see if it had backup sensors--assuming it did, of course.

Unbelievable to me that they are not included. It isn't even an option you can purchase, that I can find.
