Good Evening,

Recently purchased a 2014.5 Camry XLE with the Premium Audio (7" screen) option, and in the brochure it mentioned in the "Premium Audio" section about a "low fuel station list" that will appear when you are low on fuel. Well, I was low (low) on fuel today, and nothing popped up. I looked in the manuals and online and could find no mention of the option (how to turn it on or set it up). Went thru all the setting functions on the nav/audio screen, and could not locate the function. Does anyone have any experience with this option??? I did not get below "20 miles to empty" - so I am not sure what triggers the option to appear (is the the low fuel light or a certain number of miles remaining).

Also, in the book it talked about the FOB and holding down the UNLOCK button for 3sec and the windows drop and moonroof would open - but it might require further programming by the dealer. My dealer was not even aware of that statement in the manual, much less how to program the FOB.....again, anyone have any experience with that option?

Thank you.

Thank you for the reply - and you are correct, there is a Fuel App that loads with Entune - but, nothing popped up when the fuel was low (so, I was not sure if the station list is simply a list developed from the POIs on the Nav system......or if the list comes from the Entunes app)???

I think it comes with entunes...but how does entunes pull the gas stations most likely by using your smart phones data and searching the web. So at the end of the day it's very similar to just using POI's to find the a gas station of choice only exception is using POIs via nav won't give you the current gas price at the different stations.

I dont think any Apps auto launch but not too sure...let us know what ya find out.

As for holding the unlock button for the window, I can confirm this option exists. Like you, I saw that in my owners manual and was intrigued. I work at the local Toyota dealer in town, so on lunch the other day I grabbed one of our computers and changed the option in the computer. It goes beyond holding the unlock button and dropping the window. There are two other options: holding the key in the door lock cylinder in the unlock position for a few seconds and it will drop the window, or hold the key in the door lock cylinder in the lock position to raise the window.

I have the Nav with Entune and the Gas app but have never seen this pop on my screen. Is it an option built in the gas app. Is it on the JBL premium audio system? Is is something I need to activate?
