When playing music and I adjust the high/mid/bass there is no change. has anyone had this problem before?

As long as you have a headunit with a good EQ for the interior dynamics, and good aftermarket amps, and some quality speakers, it will get better. But, shotgun approach and hoping is a krapshoot.

Things that I've found that don't work:
New headunit with OE amp or OE speakers
New speakers with OE amp or OE headunit
New amp with OE headunit or OE speakers

Its all or nothing or just patchwork. For some, patchwork is fine and how they live their life.

I am going to replace the head Unit and the speakers. Was thinking to get JL audio c1-690.

I also installed two hifonics amps along with two 8", two 10" and a 15" square kicker but I am not getting the full potential of the system because the OE amp and head unit is sending wack signals out.

Post some pictures of the install

And, having too many speakers creates wack sound waves, some cancelling others.

I've never needed more than 1 subwoofer... any more just adds childish DMC..... d measuring contest

JL's, in my option only sound good when you step up to the C5's, C7's, and their discontinued ZR's.

With subs, you have no need for a 6x9.... round sounds better so attempt 6.5-7" in the doors.

You're not getting full potential since you're just throwing or shoveling all the sh!t into the car without planning anything properly. Bobblehead music listener?

I will post some pictures later

I will look in the c5's and c7's.
Ok I will take your advice on the doors. which brand you suggest?

😂🤣🤣😂🤣
I never expected the speaker signal to be like that. The passenger side door speaker gives off a really bad distorted signals...

I have a friend with a 2017 corolla xse, he has more speakers than I do but his really does sound good.

Apparently you’re not following. I can play my external system two ways. Through The car’s JBL system or directly from my phone. It plays extremely great directly, every beat is clear. But the car’s system does not sounds good and the high/mid/base controls don’t work to tune it.

Not trying to fix my external system trying to fix the car’s stock system.

Sorry for being so blunt but your mama never thought you not to judge a book by it’s cover?

How does the look of wires tells how it actually performs?

anyways post your system let me see what you got thou 😎
