I’m here with a question about windshield replacement for my Camry xse. Something hit my windshield due to roadwork on the freeway. I’ve got about an 8” crack on passenger side. Not very auto savvy. Considering safelight replacement but can I get away with OEE vs OEM? Do I need to be concerned about ADAS sensors if I go with OEE?

I, recently, had my windshield replaced in my 2021 Prius by Safelight and didn't even think about asking about OEM....not sure there even is such a thing!
They did a great job and do have to use their scan tool to re-calibrate the various sensors so that takes a little longer than normal. Even though I told them they didn't have to save my maintenance reminder sticker on there, they moved it over to the new windshield....no more ugly crack staring as me when I'm driving...I hate that...

Check consumer feedback such as the Yelp pages about Safelite.
They have been buying medium sized glass franchises (Giant Glass, JN Phillips) in my area (Massachusetts) and their reviews are horrible. It is not the product they are installing but the poor customer service they provide- multiple missed appointments with no notification etc.
Just had mine done by another local company today who has a good reputation. It was done when they said it would be and no problems.
