AFAIK the only 2018 that has a front camera is the Platinum trim line(called birds-eye-view?), but not the SE. Our Limited doesn't even have a front camera.

Thanks Andrewst! That is interesting. I (and two passengers) clearly saw a front view and I see two cameras behind the logo on the grille. One is likely the radar for cruise control and the other? I wanted a Limited but was unable to find one.

I think the front radar for cruise control has a heating element to clear ice/snow. That may be the extra wires, if they look OEM.

I've only had this vehicle for a few weeks and on two occasions, as I was parking, I accidentially did something to bring up the front camera on the dash screen and I am unable to recreate the scenario.

Snce you purchased this as a previously owned vehicle, perhaps the former owner added a modification?

 

It could be. The Carfax shows it was a lease vehicle but you never know. I'll chalk it up to a glitch for now. I've always had older 4Runners so all this late model Toyota tech is new to me.
