Wow. One more reason to leave the crappy OE system behind and just use Google maps or a GPS.

 

Not worth it..use Waze

 

Wish I could get it on the screen but 2019 Avalon's won't use Android Auto.

 

Richard -Purchased from Toyota dealer for $117 and loaded it in myself very easy took a little over 1/2 hour comes with instructions --I personally like the convenience of the onboard GPS ok for my use gets me from A to B --Check out the post for more info---2019 Avalon Hybrid Navigation Subscription $300--

I own a 2019 Avalon Limited and would like to know if anyone has had the dealership install the necessary software to update the maps which have expired?
I see that the dealership has to do the upgrade, not the owner

I had a 2014 Avalon that I had the dealer update it. Cost $300. I wouldn’t do it agai.

 

Agreed I only did it because it was $117-

 

Were you able to find a solution to this? I also recently purchased a 2019 limited and am wondering how to update the 2016 version of the built in maps to a more current version..
