Looking at installing a set of Michelin CC2's. I will be replacing the OEM Bridgestone Alenza Sport AS, 235-55R-20 with the Michelin in a 255-55R-20.
Q1: Is their any concern with the 255-55R-20's rubbing with the additional width?
Q2: Ride expectations? smoother, firmer, rougher or softer?
Q3: Noise, more/less ,negligible?

Thanks,

Some tire stores like Costco who sell the Mich CC2s will only put on what was the original size tire, and they will look it up to check. But probably independents will sell you anything.
Be sure the new tire's load index is at least what was original.
Tirerack says the diameter of the larger CC2 tire is 31" but my original Alenza is 29.3", so a big difference - the spare should not be used for a long time.

I have a 2020 Limited AWD with the same size stock tires. I replaced them at 49k miles with with Goodyear Assurance ComfortDrive 255/50/20 about 4 months ago so pretty close to your size.
1. I've had no issues with rubbing.
2. The ride is smoother and there is tons of grip but no real change in soft or firm.
3. Actually less noise on the highway and no real difference in my daily stop-and-go.
4. You didn't ask, but I lost about 1 mpg from the increase contact friction....also I tend to have more fun in turns with all the extra grip so that may contribute as well.

The 255/50/20 size was ideal for me as it is still roughly the same diameter as stock which means the spare will not be an issue nor speedometer error. The HL looks mean with such wide tires!
