We bought our Sienna XSE new in 2021 - this is out first Toyota and I was hoping for a trouble free experience for a few years. However, we've had the rubber roof inserts fly off in a car wash (fixed under warranty) and a hybrid system failure message after the car sat for a few hours on a particularly cold northern Illinois day (which the dealer dismissed as nothing to worry about). The latest incident involves the car riding like a ship on the ocean after riding over any road imperfections - took the car to the dealer and both front struts were diagnosed as totally blown - this on a 3.5 year old car with 30K miles. Apparently we'd being out of pocket $1600 if it wasn't for the extended warranty we bought. I've owned Nissan's, Suzuki's, Ford's and even a Rover and never had shock/strut issues with so few miles. I'm hoping these new struts last a little longer. Maybe we shouldn't have bought the first model year of the re-design?
