I don’t think the LE has remote start standard. Aftermarket kit like compustar will pay itself in the long run versus paying Toyota a monthly fee. With compustar, don’t think there hidden costs after the initial investment.

Cost is where you want the value to be based on your budget.

In about 30 months, you’d be paying the same amount for the compustar that I linked. Pay more up front or over time with Toyota, the compustar is cheaper. After 60 months, you can buy 1.5 compustar.

 

Yes it comes with remote start. But, you Must pay for the App for the key fob to operate the remote start.

 

According to this guy, "most" Toyota has a built-in remote start that works without subscription. I don't know if this applies to our Corolla. I have not tried it since I don't need it and mine is a 6MT. It's around the 9:30 mark. Good luck.

 

I tried this and didn't work on mine 🤷‍♂️ (2xlock and then hold-lock)
Supposedly it works for cars destined to USA only...

Same here. Just waiting for reasonable prices for aftermarket kit.
Last year I spent $200 CAD for Start-X kit and installed it on my RAV4. Unfortunately that company doesn't have yet remote start kit for my 2024 Corolla.

 

Look into compustar. They have a nice one. Won’t be cheap.
