2024 Rav4 Prime XSE Charge Time

Hi, I just leased the 2024 Rav4 Prime XSE. It has the 6.6 kW onboard charger. From what I have read on the Toyota website, my car should take 2.5 hours to charge on a level 2 charger. I took my car to a public 6.6 kwh level 2 charger and the estimated charge time was 4.5 hours. I am confused on what the actual charge time is supposed to be. What is everyone else's experience?

Charge times are highly dependent on many factors.

The rated times you see on their website is assuming optimal conditions. Public charging infrastructure does not guarantee the rated load, so don't expect to always get the expected charge times.

The charging current can be set in dashboard.
Normally it is set to 16A as this is max. for a standard household installation in Denmark.
However, you can set it to max. and let the charger decide.
