No.... only for extended storage, you may need to drive it occasionally to avoid the HV battery from being fully discharged, which then requires a tow to the dealership to get the car started again.

 

Why do you even have a car if you don't drive it that often?? Just asking the obvious...

 

Some people are more self contained at home, with ome bordering at being "off-grid".
