i have a 1991 toyota pickup dlx, spunn a bearing and put a 3.5 inch whole in the block.. figured it would be a good time to swap for 22re. little less power but more reliablility.. i found a guy parting out his rolled 85. i am picking up the 22re, tranny (manual) T-case, wire harness, ecu, Mounts, radiator and radiator hoses, and heater core hoses.. i need to know what to look out for and if anything else is going to give me any trouble. motor and tranny have 124000 miles on em. Thank you

Might be a good time to replace the Timing Chain if it was done recently, a new clutch assy too.

why go through all the trouble of putting in a 22re to get less power when a 3.4 swap is going to be much easier and 2x the power with the same MPG.
