Hey there
this is a bit of a unusual conversion going from a 5af to 4afe with a possiblity of a turbo conversion later on.
the car is a 1988 ae91 se limited corolla and the transplant motor is from a 1998 ae111
basically the conversion mechanically was simple 5af auto half shafts were the same length as the 4afe manual half shafts cvs were identical mounts fitted perfectly etc etc so far everything is done except the wiring which i can do myself "if" i had a ecu pinout for a 4afe which i cant believe there is not one single one on the internet ive looked high and low gone through atleast 400 post on different forums now im positive someone out there has one i have a haynes repair manual but the wiring diagram in there is for a 4age even though it covers my model with a 4afe (except it covers the series one motor not series 2) so im stumped im not going to just go start connecting up ramdom wires and hope for no smoke this is the first toyota conversion i have done so if anyone out there could help me or atleast give me the basic pins eg bat ign and earths just so i can get this darn thing going
Much thanks
