got a buddy of mine whos a mechanic. Hes got a 90 corolla 4dr sedan for sale. small rust by bottom of rear quarter panels. Very well maintained, full tune up, brakes, exhaust from manifold back. burns no oil or anything. my question is do you guys think its worth $800? ive never had a corolla so i no nothing aBOUT EM . any advice would be great. :clap:

How many miles on it? At what mileage was the timing belt changed? What engine is in it ? (probably 4A-FE)

My guess is that it is a good deal, but expect to spend about that same amount in the near future for various fix-ups. The 4A-FE is a reasonable fuel economy engine, but it isn't very powerful.

I got mine for free with 127K miles on it... no rust, been babied real bad!,very clean! except its A/T too... I'll spend a 1500 on it so it should be better on handling than my 9th gen and tC! take the car for 750! or 800 but tell him to wash it and spray the hell out of the rust!
