So any help with graphics and paint and body kits and all the fabrocation would be great I also want that roar like a street tuner car would have. Please tell me this thread is a joke... I want to literally kick your testicles in (presuming you have any) for thinking of the Corolla as a tuner car. Get a ****ing Supra or 300ZX if you want a faster car.

i think thats expecting alot, since he hasnt quite grasped the idea of installing a muffler yet.
lol I guess but we all started somewhere.

And any car can be a tuner car. It doesnt mean that it will go fast but you can still modify it lol.

Now now.. anything can be done, there's a few 4AGZE powered wagons and 3SGTE powered sedans going around, you need tons of parts and money for projects like this one, whatever you do stay away from rice. :)

As for my Civic it's a 93 Hatch and yes it's right behind my car in my signature and it's basically now my beater. :)

Wow you are a n00b lol...

Rice is...
Huge unnecessary spoilers on a FWD Car
That unnecessary exhaust that you want (get a real one, not some cheap ebay shit)
Big ugly body kits (lets face it, your car is ugly to begin with, it will only get uglier.)

Just save your money and buy something newer or do an engine swap. On a car that old youll run into more and more issues (mostly rust). Unless you want to keep the car for sentimental values or if you want to make it a sleeper. Sell it and buy a 7th or 8th gen.

OK, seriously. We all start somewhere.

The reason you're getting bashed is because you're starting with a car that's not fast, not popular, and will take a fair amount of money/time/knowledge to make fast. You want a 'tuner' car, which is a phrase that usually focuses on performance/handling, but then say that you're more interested in cosmetic modifications--paint, body kits, making the exhaust louder without actually gaining performance.

This is what's generally referred to as 'rice'. Modifications that make your car LOOK or SOUND fast, but without actually doing so.

The reason you hear a 'roar' from tuner cars is generally that their entire air path has been altered--free-flowing intakes, free-flowing exhausts from the engine back. This sound is something you'll never duplicate with a resonator tip for your muffler, or even one of those cheap 'turbo' mufflers.

Performance is one thing, looks are another. If you're just after looks, don't make your car sound obnoxious (like the Civic crowd tends to) by doing nothing more than adding some ridiculous 6" muffler or tip. You've got a relatively unique platform for starting to modify, but it'll take work.

For body kits and graphics and the like, you could do worse than check out www.andysautosport.com for a decent list of what's out there. For performance, there's a lot you can do too, but the sound is going to be incidental to the increase in power if you do it right.

This has been my good deed for the day. =)

AhhhHAAAAHAAAA BWAAAHAHAHA
Ok Im back i can't believe so many people are investing there time in this...
So far i have done full stereo K-sport coilovers, 15%tint, custom 2.25in exhaust and intake and next i will be doing light race wheels and rear disc conversion.
that is how you do a god damn corolla dont shame us...

don't worry about spending more on paint than you did on the car!
