A few small questions

I did try to find info in the forums, but I can't find much regarding these three questions concerning my 2024 Venza LE bought in NC - South East Toyota (SET) distributers.

The window sticker shows an option called Toyoguard Platinum which includes 4 tire rotations and 2 oil and filter changes. I thought that all new Toyotas came with two years of free maintenance, so I assumed that this $699 option was in addition to the factory provided maintenance. I'm now wondering if SET charges to provide the two years of maintenance and maybe there is no factory maintenance provided. Any clarification would be most welcome.

The window sticker also shows a line item identified as SET Digital Portfolio at no charge. Any idea what this is? Some window stickers (not mine) include a description of a 49 point inspection and digital photo documentation. Could this be the new-car make ready service?

My 2017 Prius Prime came with enough manuals to completely fill the glove compartment. This 2024 vehicle came with one black, zip up protector that seems big enough to hold maybe one booklet. My son has the car in DC right now, so I can't check. I looked on Toyota's site and they show three manuals; The full owner's manual, a quick start guide and a warranty and maintenance booklet. I'm interested in knowing what manuals you received with your 2024 Venza and if they all fit in that one protector?

Thanks

The form said to insert image, so I did.

sdspeed,
Thanks for the reply.
The link shows that the Toyoguard Platinum covers two more oil and filter changes and four tire rotations after the factory two years, so that's great.
It also extends the roadside assistance, but I get that through the ten-year factory extended warranty that I purchased.
I don't know about the interior and exterior protection, but... Maybe it's something.

My BMW offered something similar and I wasn't happy until I read the fine print mainly about the seats. The BMW interior coverage will send a tech out to the car to repair or replace a seat that a seam or attachment point fails in the upholstery or the entire seat should any of the electrical components do for 10 years with no mileage cap. SO that actually gives me 6 more years after the OEM warranty !

"Toyotaguard" and "Digital Portfolio" are up-sells at the dealership. Your US-sold Toyota comes standard with 2 years / 25,000 miles of oil and scheduled maintenance (albeit every 10,000 miles. Boooo), 2 years roadside assistance and one to ten years of free subscriptions to various digital enhancements. So, you paid $700 for probably three or four oil changes (an extra 2 years added to the free Toyota Care) . You may want to find out if you were charged for the Digital Portfolio and get an itemized list of what it includes and compare it to what Toyota includes with every new car. Enjoy the Venza! We love ours ( 40 MPG!!)

I got all those plus a couple others with my Venza. No portfolio or anything to put them in - a large zip lock bag works just fine though. I almost always use the PDF versions instead of the hard copy just because I can search easier, and I can keep a copy on my phone for ready reference just about anywhere I might be.

So the Toyota Care gives me two oil changes and four tire rotations over the first two years, or two major and two minor services.
Toyoguard Platinum gives me two more oil changes and four tire rotations which must be redeemed within 5 years or 60k miles, another two and two.
The dealer also gives one year of maintainence including one oil change and two tire rotations.
My plan is to use the dealer's offer for the first oil and filter at 1k miles and then use the other other services in order to change the oil and filter every 5k miles.
I'll make sure that I take it in every 6 months, but, depending upon mileage, some of those visits will just be minor services with tire rotation and topping off fluids.
I have never gone over 5k between oil changes on my Prius Prime and that engine does not run very much the way that we use the car's electric only range.
The Venza engine will have a lot more hours of operation in 5k miles.

I would still like to know which manuals should have been delivered with the vehicle. I always like knowing the correct answer before I ask the salesman the question.

Thanks

Can't say what you, or anyone, should have received but this is what I got.
