Hello,
I have a 2021 highlander XLE. It is very hot where I live and I would like to be able to cool the interior of my car before getting in via remote start. The problem is, even if I leave the AC on when exiting/shutting my car off, it is no longer on when I restart my car. I have to manually push the AC button each time I start my car.. whether I start by remote or from inside my car. The fan and temp setting will be set were I last left them, but no cool air blows until I manually push the AC button.
I have read people saying that the AC light does not need to be on as long as auto/climate control is on. But even on auto lowest temperature makes no difference. It does not blow cool air unless I hit the AC button, tuning the AC light on. I've sat in my car with it on auto LO, auto 60, you name it and no cool air until I turn the AC on.
I have turned off eco mode, makes no difference.
Help!
