Accent lights install

I was wondering if anybody knows, I found a matching Camry that's perfect except it doesn't have the front accent lights. Does Amy know what's involved or if you can have those installed aftermarket? And if so how and how much? I guessing"if" the working harness is present on all vehicles it would be ready plug and play

My guess is that it's similar to the last generation. You'll have to take off the front bumper cover and then remove existing inserts- install the lights, then then connect the wiring. It should be plug-and-play on the SE and XSE models. I'm not sure if they will attach to the LE/XLE front bumper cover, as it is slightly different- and Toyota doesn't offer them as an option on those trims on their website.

If you have found a SE or XSE that you like (and are fine with the dealer), you could negotiate the lights as part of the deal. My guess is that it would probably take less than an hour to install- so they might charge you an hour of labor. The lights (as an accessory) retail for $499. Having the dealer do it removes any risk of damaging the clips that keep the front bumper in place.

I understand but unfortunately no dealership can answer the question if they come as a kit...I called 3 dealership...I even called Toyota corporate and they didn't even know. Toyota corporate even contacted someone in their parts department and they had no clue...I explained to them is was in the brochure and they had no answer..very frustrating because I would like to add the oem ones from Toyota and no after market ones

I just looked it up and Toyota lists a few different part numbers. I have no idea what determines which part numbers a particular vehicle needs. It might be dependent on if your car is equipped with the front parking sensors (my guess is that the wiring harness in the kit might be a bit different based on if your car has parking sensors or not- but that's just my hunch). The site does not seem to have fitment information available yet for the 2025 Camry- but the images of the parts show a 2025 Camry:

I went to Toyota's parts website and looked up accessories for the 2025 Camry and plugged in an XSE AWD model, and these are the four part numbers that came up that seem related to the front lighting accessory:

PT948-03250-AA Front Accent Lighting- Left Side, Service (MSRP: $256.67)
PT948-03250-AB Front Accent Lighting- Left Side, Service (MSRP: $271.95)
PT948-03250-AD Front Accent Lighting- Right Side, Service (MSRP: $256.67)
PT948-03250-AC Front Accent Lighting- Right Side, Service (MSRP: $271.95)

It certainly is frustrating that it seems like no one at Toyota can tell you which kit or part number would be appropriate for your particular car. Again, my instinct is that one set of parts (L&R) is for the models with the parking sensors and the other set is for models with those sensors... but I have no idea if the wiring harness is included in the boxes or if you have to order it separately. I don't see a part number for it in Toyota's accessory list on their website. My instinct is that it's included if you buy both the left and right side... perhaps the main wiring harness is included in the left side (as it's a bit more expensive) and then the right side plugs into that harness. Again- just a hunch...

Good luck.

I would imagine that if you were interested in purchasing a new 2025 Camry and insisted that the dealer installed the kit- they would figure it out. Wave your money at them and they'll usually be able to figure it out. The 2025 model is still relatively new- and my guess is that most dealerships haven't had too many customers willing to pay the cost to have the lights installed at the dealership. It's different if it's an accessory installed at the factory or at the port- the techs at the dealership don't have to worry about it when it's installed there- but might need to print out the install guide and actually roll up their sleeves and figure out how to order them if you want them installed at the dealership.

Perhaps you just need the lighting parts. There appears to be multiple parts choices. It may be SE/XSE are different than LE/XLE since the lower body styling shape is different.

I know my 2008 Corolla LE does not have the fog lights but the wiring is there. I would just need to pop out the blank covers and plug in lights to install them.

It is frustrating because I saw all those parts as well and like I said before they are saying they are for service only? However someone from a Facebook group said that you can buy the service parts and the harness wire 82114-AQ010 and it will be fine...I just would like to hear from someone else that they actually had this done...its surprising no one had it done yet. Only the after market ones that I heard are not good.

It appears to me that the parts listings for the 2025 Camry are not widely available to all dealers yet. that makes it even more difficult for us. Theoretically it the accent lights are purchased when you purchase the new carm they get an extended warranty compared to the normal accessory warranty. Perhaps your dealer service department has more insight?

Toyota does not offer the lights for the LE or XLE trim. The OEM part differences are both for the SE and XSE trim. Again, I believe that the part numbers needed are based on the options that the car has. Some XSE models come with parking sensors and the 360 camera options, while others don't have that feature- so it's likely that the wiring connections or harness needed is different, as both of those factory-installed options deal with wiring in the front bumper.

SE & XSE accent lights are apparently different than LE/XLE according to this Amazon listing for aftermarket lights. That item also includes a wiring harness.

There is not an OEM option or accessory for the LE or XLE. They use a completely different front bumper- and they don't have the cutouts for the factory accessory lights. You can only install OEM lights on the SE or XSE.

That raises the question about why there are 2 different pairs of OEM part numbers for the lights then. Perhaps the SE & XLE have different grilles or different features? The third party ones fir both trims.

When contacting dealership/ parts departments they do ask for your vin# and they would say if the parts are ok for it. My xse is coming in about 4 more weeks and I would like to have the dealership order the parts before hand and install when it comes in..

But like I said no definite answer from Toyota corporate office and the actual Toyota dealership...at this point they are saying their is no kit available..HOWEVER.. Toyota does have it on the brochure as an accessory and SHOULD be available? I'm confused just like everyone else

Just checked the parts catalog for the 2025 camry and it is very limited. No doubt its just too new for now. Our parts mamager just basically said "wait a bit longer, Toyota has lots of tests and procedures on the R&D side before they offer stuff for purchase."

I have purchased a 2025 XSE AWD fully loaded with the premium plus package....I've ordered the following from the parts department with the parts guy telling me it didn't fit my vehicle.

PT948-03250-AB XSE Front Accent Lighting- Left Side, Service (MSRP: $271.95)
PT948-03250-AC XSE Front Accent Lighting- Right Side, Service (MSRP: $271.95)
plus the wiring harness 82114-AQ010 at $79.70

I don't know if that will work yet, but I will report as soon as I find out...

I did some searching in an attempt to help. There is a Reddit user here that says that harness does not work :(

I was looking on Amazon and there are dozens of kits for the accent lights. My salesman at the Toyota dealer told me the aftermarket lights are brighter than the factory lights and he prefers the look. I'm waiting a few months to let the quality issue to shake out and for some reviews to be posted before I jump. They claim simplicity of installation, but I would rather do it when the weather is warm. :D
