Does anyone here know what causes the air filter box to vibrate when the car is at idle and I have the brake pedal pressed? It stops when I place it on Neutral or when I start to drive.

90 percent. If it is an auto tranny, one of the three long bolts that secures the air filter box to the vehicle attaches to a threaded tab on the tranny mount. Does your seat, steering wheel, or floor vibrate when the air box rattles? Can you inspect the mount? That mount was the first to fail on my vehicle. OEM or nothing when it comes to engine and tranny mounts.
Yes, agreed. Especially if you plan on keeping the car for a long time. 302K miles on my Corolla and so far with the original mounts still in good shape.
