They're okay. Then again I am not a huge fan of Fords in general. I prefer the new Corvette. :naughty:

Corvette sits back seat to a car that costs $30k less : (Motor Trend comparison)

MRQ: They already have TT kits in production :) They just don't have any major sales outlets. They already have those things pushing 9's

Razo, That's hardly rice. You just dislike Fords. Even though a stock GT could smoke anything you coould ever do. Just more proof of your jealousy

nah, Mike..

the fastest car i ever rode in was a 5.0...

my family used to have 3 Fords, and they were built top notch, and never gave problems..

a stock GT, CANNOT beat a stock 2005 6.0L Pontiac GTO, so i dont know why you're saying that they'll beat anything else stock...

and i know you'll come back and say, "well, the GT is cheaper", like always...

and the fact is, that car is ugly..

yes, it's retro, but after the inital hype, it's already old...

PT Cruiser, Thunderbird, Chevy SSR, Mini Cooper, etc...

all of these cars had hype for a few months, and now they're all lost with the other retro cars...

and the mustang's next..

Mike = :eek:wned:

I said you could built. Not GM dropping the LS2 in yet another car

They need to stop that already. Build a different engine for god sake!

Are you on crack?

Ford is the worst offender of cross platform parts-bin pilfering ever. The GT40 uses a steering column out of a fucking Focus! The original Mustang was built on the chassis and used every single mechanical part (including drivetrain) from the Falcon, an economy mid-sized sedan. Don't even get me started on the 4.6L 'mod' motor, it was pretty much THE only V8 offered between with various SOHC and DOHC combos. It was in everything from the Crown Vic to the Navigator to the Mustang Cobra.

To add, since the demise of the F Body platform, the only cars in the entire North American GM lineup to use an iteration of the LS2 are the Vette, GTO and the XLR. Since the death of the L98 in 1992 there have been 6 revisions of the 350 SBC (LT1, LT4, LS1, LS6, LS2, LS7.)

Anyone notice the 4.0 V6 in the current and previous Mustang is the same V6 that was originally developed for the Explorer and Ranger? Shows how poor Ford is at full re-development, since that engine's been used for at least 6 years in cars, and 9 in Trucks.

the Mach 1 is a standard GT engine, but with a hood scoop and 5+ hp...

Do your research NOOB! It has the Cobra engine. That's why it's pushing 300hp. And not the 260 the GT makes. it's a Cobra engine without a S/C.

And don't pull that 2004 B.S. Were talking all past years.
