Which look better? with Hybrid badge vs without Hybrid badge?
Here I removed the badge digitally, let me know what you folks think.

Ok, I did it!
Gathered courage today and removed Hybrid Logos on the sides. It was relatively easy. Warmed up the area, and lifted with plastic pry tools. First tried with dental floss, but did not work well, so just used two plastic pry tools and removed both logos without breaking.

Cleaned up easily, tiny marks left, I removed those with eraser from my daughter's school pencil box!
Finally did some clean up with Wax, shined it, and now no trace off any logos there.

But, I also did one more thing, I added AWD logo in the rear just below Hybrid logo. As someone mentioned in forum, sometime to go thru passes on I-90 or Highway 2, you need to have AWD/4WD or chains. Venza is mysterious vehicle for many and troopers may not know this is AWD. This logo makes it simple.

Definitely better looking without, IMO.

 

I thought the Hybrid Badge serves as a heads up for first responders. High voltage requires precautions a non hybrid does not.

 

It will still have one at the rear, and it seems new 2022 versions they are gone too from Factory itself.

I saw a video one time of removing those pieces that dealers put on. They used fishing wire to cut through it. This left the sticky piece on it. Then it was the case of cleaning up the left over sticky residue. I would start with that.

 

Yes, looks like its relatively easy to remove the badges. Looks I am still debating. 2022 version coming without badges giving me some confidence though. But I still want folks feedback. So created a poll. Please vote your preference. Please see the pictures with and without for reference.

 

I voted for the badges because I’m used to seeing them on the side of my Venza.

However, since the 2022+ won’t have them, I’m sure I’ll get used to seeing them without.

This seems like a relatively low-risk decision. If you pull them off and later change your mind, I’m sure you could order replacements?

You can always reattach them with emblem tape, had to re-do one my AWD badges cuz I didn't quite get it level, removed it and the residue, used 3M tape and reattached it.

 

May be I will give it shot to remove without breaking those.

Those are not OEM. OEMs are about $30 (not MSRP) from Dealers.

I hate all sorts of cheap looking badges and names on cars.
Porsche and speedster would stay. After those not much

 

It's your vehicle so go for it. Toyota has been using that hybrid emblem for a while now and it has grown on me. I like it better than the one on my Lexus. With Venza I think it's tastefully done. I am definitely leaving it as is on the wife's Venza. Incidentally her Venza is the same color as in the pic in post#2. Blueprint is no longer available in 2022 Venza.

 

Oh, didn't know Blue Print is not made any more. Thats common color, why would Toyota skip that?

 

Available colors occasionally rotate year to year, and some colors are only available on certain models.
My wife's '15 Rav4 XLE was Super White, only the Limited was available in the pearl.
LE/XLE/Limited will have different color availability.

Hair dryer to heat and fishing line works great.

 

I had the dealer remove all hybrid badges on my 2012 Camry prior to delivery. He checked with a fire co. first. They said they look for orange cables.

I didn’t want to be judged by co-workers back then as a tree-hugger. Silly? YUP.

Took mine off. Instant 2022 appearance from the side.

 

At least now I have a company!..
