coilovers in general ride very rough, although if your looking for looks and handling, they're excellent...at lowest extreme of adjustment the car will look and handle unbelieveably, but it will ride like a go-kart- the other thing with coilovers is if they're totally dropped your struts will constantly bottom out and they'll last for about 2 months...eventually i couldn't keep replacing them, so i got some dropzone springs and new struts and haven't had any problems...

i haven't had direct experience with ground control, although they're supposed to be top of the line coilovers(ground control a division of eibach), but the kybs won't last any longer than stock with coilovers at lowest extreme(i've gone through 3 sets) :sosad: but with my new setup...i have them and they've held up...

it depends on what your willing to sacrifice, either looks and handling for a good ride and no worries, or sacrifice the ride quality for handling and looks...it's a tough one... hope i helped

well you could get the kybs, but like i said if your gonna slam the car to the ground, the kybs will bottom out and blow just like stock, tokico, etc... but i'd recommend the kyb's for a fairly cheap upgrade... if you don't have the coilovers drastically low, the kyb's will probably hold up for a while...

couple more things...even if you buy brand new struts, you may have to modify them to fit the coilover sleeve...and also the front strut assembly has a bearing plate that works with the strut mount up top...if you have to take it out to fit your coilovers, the car will always pull to the left or right...it's called memory steer...when you make a left hand turn it'll pull left and vise versa...ahh it's so fun ;)

I have Ground Control coilovers with KYB's. Handles like a dream, rides like ass on rough roads. And I also have the dreaded memory steer, but I will soon fix that with some new TRD hard mounts.

One more thing. You can get the Ground Control coilovers made to fit stock, KYB, or Tokico shock and strut catridge bore size.
