That is usually caused by high power amp...hehe but I use the AUX for my ipod, works fine no noise. Use a noise filter will take care of it.

This is suppose to help...big time. I use to get that "resistence sound" when I had a Sirius Radio in my LE. Annoying as hell...

 

My dad got that for his seperate XM receiver in his TCH, no more noise whatsoever. Grab them from crutchfield while they are in stock, they've sold out of them more than once...

 

I also us an iPod on my 07's Aux Input port. No problems whatsover. Also use a MonsterCable Cig Charger at the same time. Also, no problems.

 

Can I put a "noise filter" on the wire feeding the cigarette plug in the car instead? It's cheaper.

 

I own a Black 2007 Camry LE.

The Sirius Stratus unit I had installed produced a very annoying buzzing/whining noise. I used the AUX input down in the cubby hole and powered it with the cigarette lighter.

I bought this Ground Loop Isolator from my local RadioShack ($16.99): http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2062214&cp

It fixed the problem right up and the sounds quality is excellent.

I did have to purchase a Y-Cable and a Mini Jack Coupler to get everything to fit.

Total cost : $16.99 (Ground Loop Isolator) + $6.79 (1/8 Y Plug) + $3.99 (Mini Jack Coupler) = $27.77 plus taxes

You can try this out and see if it works for your car, if it doesn't, just return it.
