I'm thinking about getting an Apexi N1 Universal Non-turbo muffler installed. I want something that's loud but has a good tone. Right now I have a Magnaflow oval muffler that's pretty quiet but the sound is good; it's a little raspy since I took the resonator out. If I get the Apexi, should I just install the muffler or should I change all the piping to 2.25". Will it be considerably louder than the setup that I have now? BTW, my car is a 4 cyl.

i wouldnt increase the piping imo. unless u plan on going FI then its only gonna make the exhaust louder, which u may want. but it wont give any real power gains for the money. spend the money ud hae to pay to build teh catback and buy and mount highflow cats. that will make more of a differance then the larger cat back.
