approach departure angles

The ground clearance isn't bad at over 8" and several YouTube Reviews have shown that the 4wd is pretty smart and capable even with stock tires - they were quite surprised. But the approach and departure angles suck.

Anyone thought of or thinking of a way to improve approach departure angles?
Anyone looked into more off-road tires? I'd probably stay with 20" rims for now though.

i know torq engineering developed a 2" lift for the GH. i think the rear departure angle isnt terrible as theres no bumper and the rear wheel to bumper overhang is pretty small. The front, thats a different story, the bumper would need trimmed. ive considered going with a more aggressive tire with either a 20" or a 22" wheel, just depends on weight, i bought the vehicle for its MPG and space so id like to keep the mpg climbing with wheels weighing less than stock and the tires being close to stock weight. the 5x120 bolt pattern kind of screws you on wheels, i thought about a nice set of TRD wheels with a semi-aggressive tire but im not looking to run spacers/adapters.

Swapping to Falken wildpeak a/t trail tires for better off road capability and better overall toughness. Dealer is giving me credit for takeoffs toward these, as there will be no miles on the oem tires that come on it.
You don't think those are too agressive off road tires? I don't want to sacrifice road noise or handling for as little off road as we will be doing. Seems with the approach/departure angles it really can't do even some bad forest service roads.
