I've done some major DIY on the car this summer and everything is OK. Just trying to prepare when the time comes where the remaining stuff needs to be replaced(Ball Joint, control arm, outer tie rod).
Everything seems straight forward but I'm concerned about the castle nut on the ball joint. I live in a rusty area where salt is used on the road. I doubt I can get the cotter pin out. I have a high torque impact gun but will I be able to access the castle nut or is the space to limited? I'll of course detach the axle from the knuckle.
