ok, will try sticking to name brands.

what about style? are xtra cab shells the same as short bed shells or did they make two distinct models for each fit? i've read elsewhere some shells don't align really well with xtra cab b/c of the angle at the back of the cab (vs. regular cab short bed).

I'm not positive, but I think there are specific model shells for extra cabs...don't know that much about it though

 

Caps are sold to fit the bed.
An extra cab bed is a short bed just like the std cab std bed.
