personally i would just remove the grille emblem and paint it. i know a lot of members here have done it with success. i haven't done it personally because i have the grillcraft mesh grille, but i've painted my "tacoma" emblems with krylon fusion paint and have had no problems.

as for the white grille, i would check trdparts4u.com or some similar website. ebay, craigslist, and possibly a junk yard would be some other choices.

 

They sell a special emblem blackout kit at Home Depot. It's called Krylon Fusion and it's located in the paint aisle.

does the emblem just pop off? i tried popping mine off and i stopped because i was prying pretty hard and did not want to break anything.

 

^^ Yes it pops out pretty easily... sack up and pry it off.

 

take your grille out. then unsnap the clips on the backside. don't try to pry on it from the front or you will break the clips.

Is there any thing specific you guys searched for to find a color match grill. I searched trdparts4u and couldn't find one. Maybe I just didn't look hard enough.
