Bllinking turn indicator question

Hello,

This may be pretty basic and if it's been asked before and the search I ran didn't find the forum thread please feel free to re-direct me....

When I haven't turned my lights on (I'm just burning the normal daytime running lights) and I use my left turn indicator, it's fine. When I have the lights on, it blinks at about twice the speed of normal. When I get out and look, both front and back are blinking and I can't tell which one may need to be replaced. BTW, it's a 1999 Camry.

Any thoughts?

Personally, I'd try replacing both front and back and see if problem persists.

One of the filaments in one of the dual filament bulbs is most likely burned out. Turn the lights and the turn signal on that side on and get out and look at the back and the front and you will find the one that is not flashing. Then change it.

^^^ agreed with him. turn the hazards on during the night and you'll most likely notice that one light turns off while blinking and the other gets brighter

my friend had the same problem and was confused as well

Hey, Thanks folks, got a buddy to compare fronts and backs, figured out which one it was, and got it done!
