Where is the blower motor fan relay 2013 Corolla LE?

background: I’ve been having problems with my climate control system. My fan is stuck on high no matter if I switch it to 0 1 2 or 3 (it does turn off when I take the key out).

I’ve tested the connection to the blower motor and it reads close 14v no matter the setting. It seems like either the switch itself is bad or the relay somehow is bad and keeping the fan on high.

Drop your fan blower motor and inspect the motor. With the switch not closing, means the motor is not stopping. Need to replace motor or do resistance check between the fan control and the blower motor.

Relay is either in the under hood fuse box or under dash fuse box on the driver side.

It could be relay, but you’d need to see if fan control goes through the relay. I can verify for a 9th gen only.

To verify the resistance, you’d need to back probe the wire harness to measure it when you turn the fan on.
