Blown away by problems on my 08 sequoia limited

I just wanted to give a heads up to anyone who might have an 08 Sequoia. I started hearing what sounded like an exhaust manifold leak under engine load, but not during idle or cold start up. I took it to the dealer and after 2 tries and almost 10 days, here is what they came up with.

1. Driver's side exhaust manifold was cracked. No electronic codes or "electronic ears" detected this. Only a visual inspection showed black soot streaks on the manifold.

2. Serpentine belt cracked and in need of replacement.

3. Water pump leaking and in need of replacement.

All of this happened with 27,000 miles on the truck. I don't tow with it and have taken meticulous care of the truck mechanically and cosmentically. I was blown away to see all this happen. I guess surprised is a better word. I just didnt' expect this at 27k after reading so many great longevity testimonials.

Fortunately, Toyota covered everything under warranty. If it had been out of warrantly, that would have been close to $4,000 for repairs.

Getting nervous about the truck now.

The vehicle is definitely garage kept and meticulously maintained---as an example, it is hand washed once a week and waxed once a month, Mobil 1 synthetic oil changes every 3k, differential fluids changed every 20k, and so on, etc.

While I do have low miles, the vehicle rarely goes more than a day or two without being driven. I'm just hoping it's all anomolies. I do live in MN, so I'm wondering if going from -20f to operating temps in the winter have caused excess stress.

The shop was surprised as well.

The dealer service rep was brought in when the dealership couldn't identify the problem at first. My truck was apparently the subject of 3 regional service manager calls and was escalated to design engineering teams in Chicago. Based on that, I think it's been reported. lol
