Wondering what you guys think / what you would do. Today I got in my mail the Exedy clutch kit I had ordered on ebay, about $80 shipped which is a heck of a deal (normally $130-140 on Amazon). I had asked the seller beforehand if this was in fact true Exedy product (listing had a suspicious-to-me "Brand new in a box" mention). So the box shows up, it's an older Daikin Clutch box (now they say Exedy on them) but with the correct part number (16065). I open the box and...
Exedy clutch disc (TYD085U)
ASCO pressure plate (CT-055)
Nachi throwout bearing (60SCRN31P-6)
Not what I was expecting, to say the least. I'm considering returning it, if only on the basis that it is not as advertised. I'd rather spend the $60 more and get the OEM quality Exedy parts I was expecting. This clutch kit is for my 4A-GE build, BTW. Am I getting worked up over nothing?
