Hi all,
Finally, I got to install the bug and stone hood protector. I want to load the photos here but not sure how to do it. I tried linking this URL from "flickjr" but I don't know if it will work or not. I think the hood protect sits just a little too close to the hood itself but I am not sure how to rise them up a little higher to my taste without breaking it.

Here is the photo... hopefully it works:

Hi Wrigbay,
I bought it from my local Toyota dealership (Alexandria, Va) but they told me upfront that the hood deflector not an official Toyota part but will guarantee fit perfectly on the Venza. It cost $89.00 and it fits perfectly to the hood.

It take less then 30 minutes to install it and no drilling required... Four brackets fit within the existing holes under the center part of hood and four smaller clips hold them in place.

The only minor thing with the deflector is that it sits very close (1/4" at the lowest point) to the hood itself and you must stick at least two 3M Bumpons to prevent it from scraping the paint (I can't see how it would scrape paint but the direction said the bumpons must be used so I used just two of them).

I think it looks pretty cool though :). Here is the close up photo from the side

Thanks,

Quick update for SoCal Venza owners. I've called about 3 different SoCal dealer ships they did not have it in stock here is the part number: 00113-71621-62241. I called the number above and Mike sent me one.

90 (part) + 45 (shipping&handling) = 135
