I noticed this on a truck today and I have never seen one like this before. It almost looks custom made.

Haven't we seen that before ?? Wasn't there a thread about a car/truck show somewhere and that was sitting on the ground in front of a Tacoma ??

mmmm... beefy.

Someone must really hate shopping carts and parallel parking!
They should just continue armouring around the entire truck... that would be a hell of a daily
driver here in DC! I think the grill guardian... haha i think thats what it should be called... would look ok on a lifted Taco with meaty tires to compliment the mass of that thing... def. looks funny on that 2wd taco. I bet you he didnt know he is that close to the curb!!! He has the same clearance as the accord next to him... LMAO!!!

 I went for a walk at lunch and walked by this, at first I walked by and just thought it was an F150 or something, didn't even really look tiwce. But than I noticed the Toyota badge and looked back and tried to figure out what it was for a few minutes.

I know most of the Tacoma's in my area but I have definately never seen this one before :dunno:

Maybe he's really afraid of hitting a deer?
I don't know about him ... And you're right that's a bit much ... But I'd sure like it if a Bull Bar provided a bit more wildlife protection. I understand they really don't do much.

In Idaho it's not a matter of if you'll hit a deer (or elk, or moose, or coyote, or cow) ... But when. So far I've been 12 years diving there without hitting anything yet (though I know many who have and I've come real close).

When you drive in Idaho at night, don't watch the road, watch for eyeballs off the road.

I'm not stupid enough to expect something to protect the truck completely (deer bouce up and over quite often) ... It would be nice if after hitting a deer with a Bull Bar on the truck ... You could drive your truck home as opposed to getting stranded out in the middle of nowhere (which is what Idaho is mostly) ... With no cell service ... Or anyone around for 40 miles.

I don't care about bumpers and grills and such ... But you kinda need a radiator don't ya :)

Guess I'm kinda asking if a bull bar (specifically a Westin) would keep your truck driveable after a late night mountain encounter.

Anyone ever find out ???
