I pretty much love every thing about my 2019 SE Camry. I have one thing I don’t like though. You can’t pull the driver side wiper completely off the windshield without holding it with your hand. Kinda annoying when your detailing or trying to change a wiper blade. Maybe I’m being petty 🤣

1st world problem. Don’t you know kids are starving in ………

Try this. Start car. Turn on wiper. Shut off car with the wiper half way or more along its arc. Can it be raised now?

This makes me want to set my Camry on fire and drive it into a ditch. This is the most ridiculous warning. And why, cause some people down south can't check the temperature themselves to avoid driving into a tree???
I can't believe this made it into the Canadian spec for the Camry. I really have to sell this piece of crap.
Sorry, I had a few pints this evening. :)

It happens exactly when the temperature lowers to 37 degrees. I would shut it off if I could.

My bigger pet peeve is that when I put a Christmas tree in the back and can't close the trunk, it will beep at me the whole way home. I get it. I got it the first time you beeped at me. Just give it up already! Obviously I'm going to leave it open since I ignored you the first 20 times.

I've remedied my biggest pet peeve (so far), which was the seat belt chime.

When I get home from work, I check the mailbox at the street and then go up my driveway 400 feet to my house w/o my seat belt on. I know my seatbelt's not on! I'm not putting it on to drive up my driveway, for chrissakes! The chime was ridiculous! But it was even worse with my Lab in the back seat - that drove me batty! Thankfully I was able to silence the chime using the Carista Pro app!

Turn off your car. Within a few seconds, press up (counterclockwise) on the wiper control lever and they'll sweep up and stop in their fully-counterclockwise position. Then you can lift them off the glass the usual way.

To put them back to normal, make sure the wipers are back down against the glass, turn the car back on, and set the wiper lever to any of its operating settings.

It's a shame this is buried on pages 246-7 of the 2021 Camry's manual!

But I should point out that I rented a non-electric Chevy Volt (they do exist) and had to go just about as deep into its manual to figure out how to open the door over the gas filler cap at the gas station - it's controlled by a lever on the floor! And it's a "stealth" four-door car: the door handles for the rear doors are hidden up at the roof-line. I only found them when I was unable to tilt the driver's seat forward to let a passenger into the back seat!

It's a shame there's no review of these obese operating manuals to put often-needed information like this up front!
