I'm confused on the 2nd thing. if you just press unlock twice it unlocks all the doors. so idk why you would hold both. and how do you do the first part?

 

considering the first tip, it is useful for smart key users. touching the handle without even pulling out the key to press buttons will unlock the driver door only by default. from there you'll have to use the door's internal unlock buttons to unlock all doors for everyone else if you have passengers.

thus tip 2 changes that such that touching the handle will unlock all doors at that moment so that you dont have to press the unlock button on the door panel.

i personally leave mines to unlock only the driver door since i rarely have passengers.

heres another tip: if set to only unlock driver door, you can still unlock all doors by touching the front passenger door handle--if you feel chivalrous :thumbsup:.

 

another tip for smartkey: if turning off the engine without moving to P on the shifter will keep your radio on and won't auto unlock your doors in case you just want to stop and wait for someone for example.
