I was just hoping you can help me solve my Previa's problem (92 with 56Kmiles). I replaced my spark plugs several months ago but had to change it to the NGK platinum types again just last week after getting some engine hesitations. Problem was resloved however I noticed some carbon build-up on the plugs I replaced (formed flakes) which has just been used for less than 500Miles and I also noticed this on the replaced parts prior this. I also notice a build-up of the same material on my exhaust pipes and even washed them before I used the van to see if they are new and proved they are. I also am worried about the high gas consumption of my van since even with highway driving, I only register around 4Km/liter and thats' just 10miles to a gallon. Could these two problems be related and what should I have a mechanic to look at? Appreciate your help.
