socket with an extension would work just fine, thats how these twin cam engines are

 

You need a special socket (5/8" spark plug socket) and a extension.

You will need a spark plug socket with 2 extensions.

Take your time in removing and replacing the plugs.

Once you have the socket locked into the plug, keep a firm grip and slowly turn to undo the plug.
It will eventually give.

Do one plug at a time.

Make sure your new plugs are gapped properly (platinum and iridium plugs are usually pre-gapped).
Again, use patience when installing the plugs.

Fasten firmly, but do not overtighten them.
You can break them if you overdo it.

Good luck and don't rush.
Take your time and you'll do just fine...

u might want to put some spark plug grease on ur new plugs before putting them in.

 

Anti-sieze compound=good idea. Hand thread them to ensure nothing is cross threaded (just grab hold of the extension end)...use the wrench to torque to spec.

you can also get a socket with a small rubber insert that will basically hold onto the spark plug untill its tight. Mines really old so it sometimes comes out from the socket along with the spark plug... leaving the insert with the plug... such a pain!

While you're changing the plugs, you may want to change the wires also. The NGK wires can be found on sparkplugs.com for about $35 shipped.
