Are Hitachi coils any good? They are listed as "premium" in RA

About 18 months ago, when coil on #3 died, I replaced all 3 rear-bank coils on my ES with Hitachi units, as brand has excellent reputation, and, at the time, they were significantly cheaper than Denso. No problems as a result. Apparently Wizards Guild has not cursed all non-oem suppliers of Toyota parts.
BTW, Diamond Electric was the OEM supplier for coils on Toyota/Lexus/Scion, probably still is.

Thanks all, I'm going to try the Hitachi coils since they are much cheaper than OEM from the dealers.
I have used them with good results in my 90's Nissan and just wanted a second thought.

Look on RockAuto as they have a good selection with info and favourites. Pricing is good and acceptable shipping to Canada for higher ticket items.

Recently purchased Toyota OEM from a dealer and it looks identical to what came with the SUV. The Denso coils online do not look like the factory coils. The Factory coils appear to have a metal shield (noise shield?) around the tubular shank which the pictures of the Denso did not have at Rock Auto.

McGeorge Toyota mail order charged $71 each for V6 coils. Plugs were $10.50.
Replaced only coils on rear bank and kept old ones as spares for the front.

Car ran fine but one of the nibs on the electrode was visibly worn so the gap was about .06". The remaining 5 were about .044". Factory plugs had 140K on them.
