Cressida header

I've searched the Internet in general and thru the various Toyota forums and can not find any information on whether or not a header built for the 7M-GE in the '86-92 Supras will fit my 1991 Cressida with the same engine. I know that the Supra is a rear sump oil pan whereas the Cressida has a front sump; this would indicate that the engine in the Supra sits further back in the chassis than does the same engine in the Cressida and that there would be more room for the primaries to sneak down thru the Supra than the Cressida.

Has anyone tried this header in their MX83 chassis before or do I get to be the guinea pig?

If any of you have heard of a Tri-Mill Header...we're in the process of making a 'copy' of this out of production 6 into 1 header. The unit will be made out of mild steel and ceramic coated...we're about a month away from production being done...will post details in this thread if anyone is interested.

6 into 1? What are the dimensions of the primaries and the collector? Is this going to be for the MX83 Cressida chassis or is it a copy of a header originally developed for the Supra?

Right now I'm accumulating funds to purchase an OBX stainless header, 3 into 2 into 1 designed for the '86-'92 Supra and see how it fits under the hood of my '91 Cressida. If it doesn't fit, then I'll migrate it to my Toyolet  ('41 Chevrolet coupe being fitted with Cressida drivetrain) where I'll have the luxury of modifying the chassis to allow it to fit.

We're looking to keep this as close to the tri mill as possible. Primiaries will be 35mm ID and the collector will be 2.5" O.D.

This like all Supra headers was originally developed for the 2nd gen supra. I have a few local cressida owners I know and will do my best to do a test fit on their cars when production is done.

If there are any Toronto Cressida owners here that want to see if this fits their car pm me and we can work something out...ciao.

I know a bloke in Brampton who frequents the forums... MX83 though. He does come by here every so often and even the TSC board, on all places he's 'steeven001'
