I used a 87-92 PaceSetter Supra header on my last 89 Cressida and it fit nicely. I just have to make the pipes from the header collectors to the cat. No issues though.

Thanks Jim for the information. Honestly, I had a very bad experience with a PaceSetter header that I bought for my 1986 Honda CRX so I am somewhat hesitant to risk any more money on them. However, it is good to know that someone has successfully put a Supra header on a Cressida.

sump aside, u good bolt up the GTE manifold to the Cressida exhaust thats how compatible it is. I know one guy in www.toyotacressida.net made his own headers i was gonna buyem, but they looked ugly.

 

I've built my own headers before and been very successful at it, but they take a lot of time and are a lot of work! Based upon this experiences, if you can buy them, don't build them!

 

If any of you have heard of a Tri-Mill Header...we're in the process of making a 'copy' of this out of production 6 into 1 header. The unit will be made out of mild steel and ceramic coated...we're about a month away from production being done...will post details in this thread if anyone is interested.

6 into 1? What are the dimensions of the primaries and the collector? Is this going to be for the MX83 Cressida chassis or is it a copy of a header originally developed for the Supra?

Right now I'm accumulating funds to purchase an OBX stainless header, 3 into 2 into 1 designed for the '86-'92 Supra and see how it fits under the hood of my '91 Cressida. If it doesn't fit, then I'll migrate it to my Toyolet :lol: ('41 Chevrolet coupe being fitted with Cressida drivetrain) where I'll have the luxury of modifying the chassis to allow it to fit.

 

We're looking to keep this as close to the tri mill as possible. Primiaries will be 35mm ID and the collector will be 2.5" O.D.

This like all Supra headers was originally developed for the 2nd gen supra. I have a few local cressida owners I know and will do my best to do a test fit on their cars when production is done.

If there are any Toronto Cressida owners here that want to see if this fits their car pm me and we can work something out...ciao.

Ya Jerry...I know that guy (not personally)...I also have a customer in Richmond Hill that's ordered an intake and bushings from me for a MX73...it would be great if we could test both cars.
