Good evening all, thanks for welcoming me to the group chats. I do apologize if this subject has been spoken about prior to me being here. I searched for discussion, didn't find anything so here I go. Imported a 2007 toyota Rav 4 limited edition from japan to Canada. Lots of open roads here and am looking to see if you can put Cruise control in something that didn't co.e from the factory with it as an option. Called the dealer they sell the switch and the wiring harness, but beyond that they dont know if im good to plug in somewhere and go or there's parts going to computers that where not tracking. Any help is grealltly appreciated from those with the knowledge thanks again.

Way back I added an aftermarket cruise control to a car, as did a couple of friends. However, those cars still had mechanical linkage to the accelerator pedal. With electronic throttle -which your car probably has- it's different can of beans. Looking on Amazon, cruise controls were $300-$400.
