2004 Camry 245K miles. Daytime running light works sporadically. It's working now. I just pulled apart the bulbs and reconnected them.
However, I bought these LED bulbs off of ebay. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1400W-9006-HB4-LED-Headlight-210000lm-Vehicle-Car-Low-Beam-Bulbs-Kit-HID-6000K/122004078250?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649
The daytime running didn't work after I installed them. I installed them on my other car. It worked there. I just reinstalled the old bulbs back onto this car.
I checked all the daytime running light relays. They are easily accesible. They are located in the black box in hood next to the battery. There are 3 relays and one -5 amp fuse.
Here are the instructions I followed.
My resistances between pin 85 and pin 86 (over the coil) is over 120 ohm. But when I put power on 85, 86, I heard a click and resistance between 30 and 87 is almost 0.
This tells me the relays are good.
You will thank me for this. I couldn't find Toyota Relay schematic anywhere except in this foreign language manual. http://www.gauss.ind.br/img/downloads/en/00000142.pdf
Daytime Running Light relays consist of three of the 4 pins relays, part number 90080-87026 and one 5 pin relay, part number 98084-98032.
In the manual, you can find the schematic for 98084-98032. I couldn't find the schematic for 90080-87026. Instead, I used the schematic from this 4 pin relay 90080-87021
I even checked the battery cable and cleaned them. Now the daytime running light is working. Has anyone experienced sporadic issue with day time running light?
