I hear ya. My 2012 Jeep GC had that and my 18 Highlander does. Jeep took it away in 2014 models, now toyota with 2020 models.. not going to be able to find many with that feature anymore. I use it a lot..

4Runner still has it

I definitely would prefer the new Highlander versus the old. I'm not super techie but not a technophobe, but got to have at least Android Auto and Apple Carplay, and LED lights too.

If dealers want to make their year end quota, the new Highlander can definitely help with the right amount of incentives
