Hey guys,

Quick question, I am planning on buying an arb bumper but no winch, just wondering if I need to beef up the suspension??? Any input would be nice thanks by the way it is a 2008 reg cab.

Yes. I have the ARB with no winch and the 5100's. I had to raise the shocks up a notch to sit where it did minus the ARB. I am currently still on stock springs. With the TSB rear leafs and the 5100's set at 1.75" up front it sits level.

Troop,
The TSB rear springs are the Toyota replacement springs for the stock 3-leaf rears that come stock. TSB = Technical Service Bulletin. If you truck has the 3-leaf pack and bottoms out frequently go to your dealer and the TSB 4-leaf rear springs installed at N/C as long as you are still in warranty. The 5100's are Bilstein height adjustable front shocks. I am still using the stock front sprints with the 5100 shocks raised up 1.75". Do some searching here and you will find pages of info on both topics.
