Does a long block motor from a 2000 Corolla fit in a base 1993?

IM guessing I have a base because it has manual windows and locks.

Here is a picture of the 2000 Corolla motor:

money can do wonders....

but why don't you look for a more easy to swap engine??? A family are direct bolt on's IIRC

With a 2zz it may be a worth while endeavor, but I wouldn't consider that for a 1zz. A stock replacement motor is about 4-500, and you won't get anywhere with the 1zz for that much. Lots of fabrication and custom work needed to pull it off. The motor/trans may bolt over with the subframe, but exhaust would need work, shifter linkage perhaps, harnesses, lots of work.
