Door Adjusting

Have a nasty rattle in the passenger door on my 95' DX. If I put a small amount of pressure pushing the door out from inside I can eliminate 95% of the noise.
Never been damaged and the latch and catch on the door jam all work fine and show virtually no wear. Kinda surprised it's the passenger door since it has rarely ever been used.

Anybody ever have to adjust a door and which way worked the best?
Will have to use an impact driver to break the screws loose.

I added more of the round rubber stoppers on the door jam to increase the pressure on the door once it was latched with very little difference if any.
All the body lines are nice and even and nevr had a need to slam it to get it to latch, thought the added rubber stoppers would mean additional force woul be nded to close and latch it properly buut no change or improvement. I guess I'll move the postion of the door latch to increase the pressure to get the thing to quiet down. Driving me crazy!

Did you flip your striker already? If not try it.

Also grab a screw driver and with the door open - close the door on the screwdriver and pay attention to the latch mechanism. It is a metal latch with a plastic black covering. When - not if - that deteriorates and/or falls off then you get slop in the door with everything else being as it should.
